We will always try our best to honour special requests such as early arrivals or late departures, depending on availability. The villa team is on-site around the clock to assist whenever needed.

Children

We welcome families and children of all ages. Please note that our elevated setting requires close supervision at all times. Children may not be left unattended anywhere on the property.

Room Occupancy

All room rates are based on double occupancy. A selection of rooms can comfortably accommodate additional guests at an additional charge:

  • Under 12 years: Free of charge

  • 13–17 years: USD 60

  • 17+ years: Full adult rate

Rate

Our rates are inclusive of breakfast and dinner (half board) and all statutory levies. A 10% service fee will be added to the final bill.

Non-Resident Guests

To preserve the sense of privacy and home-like comfort at Peacock Hill, outside visitors are not permitted unless approved in advance by the Villa Manager.

Pets

We are unable to accommodate pets.

Smoking

All indoor areas and the spaces directly surrounding the villa are strictly non-smoking. Two designated smoking areas are available—please ask the Villa Manager for directions.

Transfers & Activities

Our team will be happy to assist with arranging transport, excursions, and activities in and around the Cultural Triangle.

Liability

Peacock Hill’s liability is limited to wilful misconduct or gross negligence by our team. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage unless caused by our own failure to exercise reasonable care.

Third-party services (drivers, guides, experiences, etc.) are offered for your convenience; however, any claims related to their service must be directed to the provider. We will, of course, assist where possible.

While we provide security and in-room safes, the hotel cannot accept responsibility for the loss of valuables.

Pool Use

Our pool does not have a lifeguard or fence, and is used at your own risk.

  • No diving or jumping

  • No glassware in the pool area

  • Children under 12 must be supervised at all times

Dietary Requirements & Allergies

As a small hotel, we do our utmost to cater to dietary needs—advance notice helps us prepare. All allergies must be communicated at the time of booking and upon arrival.

Housekeeping

In support of our environmental practices, linen and towels are changed every three days. If you prefer daily changes, please let the Villa Manager know.

Food & Alcohol

We do not operate on fixed mealtimes—simply speak to the Villa Manager to plan the timing that feels right for your day.
We kindly ask that outside food and alcohol are not brought onto the property.

Noise

Peacock Hill is a quiet, nature-focused retreat.

  • No parties are permitted

  • Quiet hours begin at 10pm

While the hill is peaceful, occasional sounds from the nearby village may drift through, a gentle reminder of where we are.

Cancellation Policy

A summary of our cancellation policy is provided below.

For bookings of 1–2 rooms:

  • 30+ days before arrival: No fee

  • 29–14 days: 50% cancellation fee

  • Within 14 days: 100% cancellation fee

  • No-shows: 100%
    Modifications are free (subject to availability) up to 30 days before arrival.

For exclusive-use (3 rooms) bookings:

  • 90+ days: 25% fee (deposit)

  • Within 60 days: 100% cancellation fee

  • No-shows: 100%
    Modifications are free up to 90 days before arrival.

For block bookings longer than 2 weeks:

Same terms as above (90+ days = 25%, within 60 days = 100%).
If the new dates or length of stay reduce in value, refunds are not issued.
Refunds are processed within 30 days in the original payment currency.

For special events, group retreats, or third-party bookings, the cancellation policy shown on your confirmation will apply.
